DESCRIPTION:

This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 4.53 Rev A.

Enhancements/Fixes:

This release of OS/2 Support Software Diskette v4.53 Rev A,
supports the following new products:

Compaq ProLiant ML370 (G-2) Server.
Compaq Smart Array 532 Controller.

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed
by the contents of the Compaq Support Software Diskette
v4.52 for OS/2.
 
1. OS/2 Compaq System Server Management Driver Updates  

OS/2 Compaq Server System Management Driver,CPQSMGT.SYS 
Version 2.23 has been enhanced to support Compaq ProLiant
ML370 (G-2) Servers.

2. OS/2 Compaq CISS Driver Updates 

The Compaq CISS Driver, CPQCISS.ADD v1.2 is enhanced to supports 
Compaq Smart Array 5i Controllers and Compaq Smart Array 532 controllers.


HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP4754.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP4754 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   217380US._01
   217380US._02
   217380US._03
   217380US._04
   217380US._05
   217380US._06
   SP4754.TXT

3. Obtain 6 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP4754.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Type VIEWME at the command prompt on the First Diskette
   for additional information.
