This Softpaq creates the OS/2 NIC Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 1.40 Rev A.

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed by
the contents of the Compaq NIC Support Software Diskette
v1.40A for OS/2.

1. Compaq Token Ring ISA Driver for OS/2 

   Compaq Token Ring ISA Driver for OS/2 v1.21 has been 
   updated for IOCtl support for CIM Agents support. 
   
2. Compaq Token Ring PCI Driver for OS/2
  
   Compaq Token Ring PCI Driver for OS/2 v1.21 has been 
   updated for IOCtl support for CIM Agents support. 
   
3. Compaq 3 Com Driver for OS/2

   Compaq 3 Com Driver for OS/2 v3.29 has been updated for
   IOCtl support for CIM Agents support. 

4. Compaq Netflx-3 Driver for OS/2 
    
   Compaq Netflx-3 Driver for OS/2 v2.52 has been updated
   for IOCtl support for CIM Agents support.

5. Compaq Network Fault Tolerant for OS/2
    
   Compaq Network Fault Tolerant for OS/2 v2.52 has been 
   updated to display the updated driver ver information
   NETFLX3.OS2 v2.52 and also the utility information.
   
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP4743.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP4743 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   276801US._01
   276801US._02
   SP4743.TXT

3. Obtain 2 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   On-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP4743.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to UPDATES.HTM on the First Diskette by typing
         A:\Viewme A:\HTMLRDR\UPDATES.HTM
   at the OS/2 prompt for installation instructions
   and additional information. OR
   Refer UPDATES.RDM on the generated diskettes by
   typing A:\Readme
