This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 3.50 Rev A.

Enhancements/Fixes:

This release of OS/2 Support Software Diskette v3.50 Rev A,
supports the following new products:

Compaq ProLiant 6500 Pentium III Xeon 500 MHz
Compaq ProLiant 6000 Pentium III Xeon 500 MHz
Compaq ProLiant 7000 Pentium III Xeon 500 MHz

Compaq 64 bit Dual Channel Wide Ultra2 SCSI Controller

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed
by the contents of the Compaq Support Software Diskette
v3.50A for OS/2.
 
1.  Compaq Server System Management Driver for OS/2

    The Compaq Server System Management Driver for OS/2
    Version 2.15 has been updated to support Compaq 
    ProLiant 6400R.
    
2. Compaq Wellness Utility for OS/2                                          
                                      
    The Compaq Wellness Utility Version 2.2 has been updated
    to support the latest servers.                            

3.  Compaq SCSI Controller Support For OS/2                                   
    
    The Compaq SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD Version 2.75 has 
    been enhanced to support Compaq 64 bit Dual Channel 
    Wide Ultra2 SCSI Controller.
                                                                              
4.  Compaq Storage Configuration Utility for OS/2

    The Compaq Storage Configuration Utility Version 1.05 is
    used for Hot replacement of Compaq Storage Controllers.  
    This utility supports SCSI, Array and Fibre Channel 
    Controllers.  It is also used to make or dissolve Online
    Redundant back-up pairs of Compaq Storage Controllers.
    			        
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP4742.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP4742 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   277096US._01
   277096US._02
   277096US._03
   277096US._04
   277096US._05
   SP4742.TXT

3. Obtain 5 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP4742.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Type VIEWME at the command prompt on the First Diskette
   for additional information.
