DESCRIPTION:

This Softpaq creates the OS/2 NIC Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 1.20 Rev A. For complete information
on changes and enhancements to the OS/2 NIC Support
Software diskette, see UPDATES.HTM on the First Diskette
by typing
  A:\ Viewme A:\HTMLRDR\UPDATES.HTM
at the OS/2 prompt.  OR
See UPDATES.RDM on the generated Diskettes by typing 
  A:\ Readme
  

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed by
the contents of the Compaq NIC Support Software Diskette 
v1.20A for OS/2.

Intel Drivers:

    Compaq anymore.


HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP4739.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP4739 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   276801US._01
   276801US._02
   SP4739.TXT

3. Obtain 2 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   On-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP4739.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to UPDATES.HTM on the First Diskette by typing
         A:\Viewme A:\HTMLRDR\UPDATES.HTM
   at the OS/2 prompt for installation instructions
   and additional information. OR
   Refer UPDATES.RDM on the generated diskettes by
   typing A:\Readme
