DESCRIPTION:

This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 3.30 Rev A. For complete information
about changes and enhancements to the OS/2 Support
Software diskette, please see Whatsnew.htm on the first
diskette by typing

at the OS/2 prompt.

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed
by the contents of the Compaq Support Software Diskette
V3.30A for OS/2 
 
1. Compaq System Management Driver Updates For OS/2

   The Compaq System Management Driver Ver 2.10 has been
   enhanced to support the Compaq Servers ProLiant 3000
   Model 6/400, ProLiant 800, and ProLiant 6500 model 6/400.

2. Compaq Array Controller Driver Updates For OS/2
   
   Compaq Array Controller driver Ver 3.50 has been updated
   for supporting the SmartArray Controller ES3200 on OS/2.
   Driver has also been updated to support greater than 
   seven drives per bus.	

3. Compaq Health Driver for OS/2
   
   The Compaq Health Driver for OS/2 v3.60 has been enhanced
   to support more features on Wellness Utilities.

4. Compaq Fibre Channel Array Controller on OS/2

   Compaq Fibre Channel Array Driver v1.15 has been enhanced
   to support 12 port hub.
   
5. Compaq 32-bit Helper Driver for OS/2

   The Compaq 32-bit Helper Driver for OS/2 v3.10 has been
   updated for Hot Plug and LCD Support.
   
6. Compaq OnLine Array Configuration Utility for OS/2

   The Compaq OnLine Array Configuration Utility for OS/2 
   V2.00 has been enhanced to support the controllers 
   SmartArray ES3100 and 12 port OE hub.

7. Compaq SCSI Controller Support For OS/2

   Compaq SCSI Controller driver v2.60 has been updated to
   support more than 7 drives per SCSI bus with Backplane
   Controller which can drive upto 12 targets in ProLiant
   Storage Box.
		     
    
8. Compaq RIB Driver Support For OS/2

   The Compaq RIB Driver for OS/2 v2.15 has been updated to  
   register the IRQ to Resource Manager as SHARED. Also, 
   the unlinking of the driver, if resource is not available
   is fixed. 

 HOW TO USE:

1.Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
  hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
  is downloaded is SP4738.EXE.

2.From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
  file:
      SP4738 [ENTER]

  The following files should be created:

  QRST5.EXE
  277096US._01
  277096US._02
  277096US._03
  277096US._04
  277096US._05
  SP4738.TXT

3. Obtain 5 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP4738.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Type VIEWME at the command prompt on the First Diskette 
   for additional information.
