DESCRIPTION:    This Softpaq creates three diskettes for the CIM
                Agents for OS/2, v3.83. These diskettes contain all
                of the agents for OS/2. For details on enhancements
		to the agents and installation, refer to the
		README.TXT on the generated diskette.

Supported Products:

   The Compaq Insight Management Agents for OS/2 have been tested on
   the following Compaq Products:
   
   	Compaq SystemPro family of servers (all models)
   	Compaq ProSignia family of servers (all models)
  	Compaq ProLiant family of servers (all models)

Enhancements and Fixes:
   
   Fix for SMART-3100ES controller problem:

        If physical drives (more than 7 drives) are configured as two 
	arrays with spare drive each, Agents Ver. 3.82 were not 
	functioning. This problem has been fixed in this release.
   
   Supports following Intel NICs

        Compaq NC3120 Fast Ethernet NIC
        Compaq NC1120 Ethernet NIC
        Compaq NC3122 Fast Ethernet NIC
        Compaq NC3121 Fast Ethernet NIC

HOW TO USE:             

   1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your 
      hard drive and change to that directory. The file that 
      is downloaded is an executable with a filename based on
      the SoftPaq Number above i.e SP4730.EXE.

   2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded
      Softpaq file. The following files should be created:
         QRST5.EXE
         CIM383._01
         CIM383._02
         CIM383._03
         SP4730.TXT

   3. Obtain three formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

   4. Run the QRST5.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions.

   5. After the diskette is created, you may delete the 
      downloaded file (SP4730.EXE) and the other files created 
      on your hard drive in step 1.

   6. To install the Compaq Insight Management Agents for OS/2,
      refer to README.TXT on the diskette for installation
      instructions and additional information.
		OR
      Run a:\install and follow the on-screen instruction.

   7. Remove the diskette.

   8. Reboot ther server after the installation.
