DESCRIPTION: This Softpaq creates an update diskette for the Compaq 
SCSI driver on OS/2.  It it is an update to Version 2.45 on the OS/2 
Support Software Diskette, Version 3.01 Rev A (SoftPaq SP4716).
For details on driver installation and additional information, refer 
to SCSI.RDM or README.COM on the created diskette.

Enhancements/Fixes:

 - Fixes the problem of poor system response when a Compaq CD Library 
   connected to a system running Compaq Insight Management Agents is powered off.
   
 - Fixes a potential trap problem that can occur while running stress on a 
   Compaq 12X SCSI CDROM drive.
   
 - Fixes a potential trap problem that can occur when no devices are connected 
   to any of the SCSI controllers and one of the SCSI controllers shares IRQ 
   with a non-SCSI controller.  

HOW TO USE:             

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and
change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP4721.EXE

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file: 

   SP4721 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:
     QRST5.EXE
     STORAGE._01
     SP4721.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the driver update diskette, run QRST5 and follow the 
on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP4721.EXE and other files created on your hard drive if you wish.

6. For installation instructions and additional information, execute 
README.COM or refer to SCSI.RDM on the created diskette.
