DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq creates an update diskette for the Compaq 
Array and Compaq EIDE drivers on OS/2.  For details on driver installation  
and additional information, refer to the README files on the created 
diskette.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - The Compaq Array driver for OS/2, CPQARRAY.ADD Version 3.26, has been
   updated to fix a potential lockup problem on Compaq servers that
   support the Integrated Management Log (IML).

 - The Compaq EIDE driver for OS/2, CPQEIDE.ADD Version 1.12, has been 
   updated to fix the issue where the following message appears even if the 
   IBM1S506.ADD entry is not present in CONFIG.SYS:

     "CPQEIDE: Unable to allocate resources. Driver will be unloaded. 
      Please remove IBM1S506.ADD from CONFIG.SYS, if present." 

HOW TO USE:             

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and
change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP4713.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file: 

   SP4713 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:
     QRST5.EXE
     storage._01
     SP4713.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the driver update diskette, run QRST5 and follow the 
on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP4713.EXE and other files created on your hard drive if you wish.

6. For installation instructions and additional information, execute 
README.COM from the created driver update diskette.
