DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install a Power Managment Utility 
that allows Presario desktops and minitowers to maintain a network connection 
even when the system enters Sleep mode.  Without this utility, the connection 
is likely to be lost.  

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed 
with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory.
To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete 
path of the directory as a parameter:

     SPxxxx <path> 

NOTE: <path> could indicate a diskette drive 

Enter "Y" to confirm and files are unpacked into the download 
directory or the directory specified.  

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. If you are not already running Windows 95 (e.g. if you are in DOS mode), 
restart the computer and let Windows 95 start.

5. From the Windows 95 menu, select Start, Run, and enter:
    <path>\setup 
   where <path> is the dirctory where the Power Managment Utility installation 
   files are located.

6. The Install shield guides you through the installation procedure.
When prompted to restart the computer, choose Yes.

7. After the installation is completed, you may delete the downloaded files 
unpacked in step 2 if you wish.
