DESCRIPTION: Drive Array Advanced Diagnostics utility is a DOS based tool
designed to run on all Compaq products that contain a Smart
SCSI Array Controller using SCSI hard drives. The two main
functions of DAAD are to collect all possible information
about the array controllers in the system and generate a
list of detected problems. This data can then be saved to a
file for analysis. In most cases, DAAD will provide enough
information to initiate problem resolution immediately.
DAAD consists of one (1) diskette:

HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.
2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.
4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.
5. The DAAD diskette is self-booting. Place the diskette into your
drive A: diskette drive and power cycle your system to start the
DAAD utility.
