DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files needed to install the Adaptec 7800 Family Manager
Set, providing Windows 95 and Windows NT support for the Compaq Embedded PCI 
Ultra SCSI Controller included in the Deskpro 6000 Series or a Compaq PCI Ultra 
SCSI Controller that could be installed as an option in Deskpro 2000 
or 4000 Series models.  Optionally, allows an install diskette to be
created.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the Softpaq number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory
folder in the downloaded directory.  All files are unpacked into this
newly created directory.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. The driver may be installed directly from the files on the created
directory or an install diskette can be created. To create an install
diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT.
To install, execute SETUP.EXE in the created directory or from the 
diskette, then follow on-screen instructions.

5. After installation is complete, you may delete the directory
created in step 2 if you wish.
