PREREQUISITE: A licensed copy of Version 3.30 or 3.40 of Compaq Insight 
Management Agents for Windows NT is required for each server to be upgraded.

DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files needed to upgrade Insight Agents Version 3.30 
to version 3.30B and Insight Agents Version 3.40 to version 3.40B.
Fixes a memory leak that can cause the system to eventually run out of 
virtual memory.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. Stop the Insight Agents Service on the server to be updated.  Enter:
        NET STOP SNMP /Y

5. Copy and rename the file CPQUTILS.330 or CPQUTILS.340 (depending on the 
version of Insight Agents) to %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\CPQUTILS.DLL.

6. Copy and rename the file CPQMGMT.330 or CPQMGMT.340 (depending on the 
version of Insight Agents to update) to %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\CPQMGMT\CPQMGMT.EXE.

7. Restart the Insight Agents Service on the server just updated.  Enter:
        NET START CPQMGMT
