DESCRIPTION:  Creates the S3 Windows 95 Driver diskette for the Presario 3000 
Series.  This driver upgrade contains support for Microsoft Certified DirectX 3.0.
The video chipset in the Presario 3000 Series is the S3 Aurora64V+.

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. To install the upgrade:
   a) Insert the created diskette in drive A.
   b) In Windows 95, select Start, Settings, Control Panel.
   c) From the Control Panel, double-click the Display icon.
   d) Click on the Settings tab in the Display Properties window.
   e) Click Change Display Type. 
   f) In the Adapter Type box, click Change.
   g) Click on Have Disk.
   h) In the "Copy manufacture's files from" box, type "A:\" and click OK.
   i) Highlight "S3 Inc. 86CM65" in the list and click OK.
   j) Click Close twice.
   k) When prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.
   l) When the computer restarts, the new video driver will take affect.
