HOW TO USE:

1. Format a 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your
hard drive and change to that directory. The file downloaded
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
    SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file.
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette
into a diskette drive to create the ROMPaq diskette.

4. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded
    file if you wish.

5. Place the ROMPaq diskette into drive A: of the computer you
wish to update and turn on the power or reboot the computer.

6. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue.

7. Select the ROM version to be installed.

8. The ROMPaq Utility will update the ROM and will
notify you when the update is finished.

DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER'S POWER DURING THIS PROCESS

9. When the ROM update is finished, you will need to restart
your computer. Remove the ROMPaq diskette from your computer.
Turn the power OFF with the power switch, wait 5 seconds, then
turn the power ON again. (Use the power switch, not the
    Sleep button.)
