DESCRIPTION:  
The Compaq Survey Utility is an online agent that captures critical hardware 
and operating system configuration information on Compaq servers without 
interrupting server operation.  It automates a configuration history log, 
allowing administrators to identify and compare configuration changes.

Changes in Version 1.09:
- Adds support for new Compaq Prosignia/Proliant servers. 
- Looks for the presence of a Compaq Remote Insight Board 
  with new version 1.1 firmware or later, and if present, 
  saves its last captured session on the board.  
- Fixes display of processors installed in ProLiant 5000 
  when less than 4 processors are present.
- Adds Windows 95 support.  SurveyNT can be run in a Windows 95 enviroment to 
  generate output from existing IDI files. Data capturing under Windows 95 
  is not yet supported.    
- Implements better handling of low system memory conditions.

The included RELEASE.TXT file lists new functionality.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. Refer to SP3637.DOC and README.TXT for instructions on installing
and using the software.
