DESCRIPTION:  Creates the Options ROMPaq diskettes, allowing a user to
upgrade the ROM Firmware images for Compaq System product Options.  The
Options ROMPaq consists of four (4) diskettes:
Disk 1 - Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for the Compaq SMART
         and SMART-2 SCSI Array Controllers
Disk 2 - Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Compaq Hard Drives
Disk 3 - Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Additional Compaq
         Hard Drives
Disk 4 - Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Compaq SCSI DAT
         Drives and SCSI Tape Drives

Enhancements/Fixes:
- Enables Seagate drives to run at Ultra speed.

NOTE:   Multiple firmware versions exist for these products. This
        ROMpaq utility will identify and upgrade the correct firmware 
        to the specific OEM tape hardware product.

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain four (4) formatted 1.44MB diskettes.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
   that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP3594.EXE.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
   SP3594 [ENTER]
   You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44MB diskettes into a
   disk drive to create the diskettes:
     DISK #1 -- Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for the Compaq 
                SMART and SMART-2 SCSI Array Controllers
     DISK #2 -- Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Compaq Hard 
                Drives
     DISK #3 -- Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Additional 
                Compaq Hard Drives
     DISK #4 -- Options ROMpaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for Compaq SCSI 
                DAT Drives and SCSI Tape Drives

4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file
   SP3594.EXE if you wish.

5. The Options ROMPaq diskettes are self-booting diskettes. Place each
   ROMPaq diskette into your drive A: diskette drive and power cycle your
   system to begin updating the appropriate components.
