DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install a utility that partitions 
and prepares a hard drive for the installation of an operating system on one 
of the above-mentioned Deskpro computers.  Optionally creates a diskette.
The utility can be used to build the Compaq System Partition and primary DOS 
partition by passing arguments in parameters.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.
Optionally create a diskette, or unpack to a directory other than the download 
directory, by executing the SoftPaq file with a path parameter.  Example:
      SPxxxx <path>
      where SPxxxx = name of downloaded SoftPaq file
            <path> = alternate path or diskette drive location such as a:\

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, refer to README.TXT in the carve\disk1 
directory.
