		Only Read/Write protect the last 2 pages of NVRAM for Admin password.
		We were write-protecting the last 4 pages.  This allows changing other
		NVRAM variables that occur in the four page area.

                Comprehend a part change on the Compaq Wide Ultra-SCSI
		Controller board and correctly detect and enable it as
		a Compaq board.




     ROM P01 - ProSignia 200  (05/12/97)
     ========================================

		Do not issue password prompt if floppy disk is inserted in
		drive, floppy boot is turned off, and network server mode
		is enabled.

		Modified S.M.A.R.T. support with 6-byte MODE SENSE commands
		that are required by some SCSI drives instead of the 10-byte
		commands.
	
         Comprehend a part change on the Compaq Wide Ultra-SCSI
		Controller board and correctly detect and enable it as
		a Compaq board.



HOW TO USE:

1.   Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.   Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive
     and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is
     SP3540.EXE.

3.   From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq
     file: SP3540 [ENTER]You will be prompted to place the
     formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create
     the diskette.

4.   After the diskette is created, you may delete the
     downloaded file SP3540.EXE if you wish.

5.   Revert to the README file on the diskette for specific
     upgrade instructions and additional help.
