DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq creates the OS/2 2.x Support Software Diskette
              for Compaq.  For complete information on changes and enhancements,

Compaq Array Driver Updates for OS/2

The Array driver, CPQARRAY.ADD v3.25 is a maintenance release with
no changes in functionality.


Compaq SCSI Driver updates for OS/2

The SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD v2.40 has been updated to support 
the Integrated Dual Channel Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 Controller and the 
Integrated Management Log on the Compaq ProLiant 3000 server.

The SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD v2.40 has been updated to support logging
of storage sub-system related power supply and fan redundancy failure
events on Compaq Servers that support the Integrated Management Log. 
 
The SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD v2.40 can support up to 16 Compaq SCSI
controllers on a single Compaq server. 


Compaq IDE Driver updates for OS/2

The Compaq Bus Master IDE Driver for OS/2, CPQEIDE.ADD v1.05
has been updated to support Maxtor 5.1GB IDE disk drives. 


Compaq Health Driver updates for OS/2

The Health driver, CPQHLTH.SYS v3.40 has been updated to
support the Compaq ProLiant 3000 server.


Compaq NetFlex-3 Driver for OS/2 update

The NetFlex-3 driver for OS/2, NETFLX3.OS2 v1.80 has been 
updated to support Auto-Negotiation.


Compaq NetFlex-3 Driver for DOS update

The NetFlex-3 driver for DOS, NETFLX3.DOS v1.72 has been 
updated to support Auto-Negotiation.

HOW TO USE:             

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your 
hard drive and change to that directory. The file that 
is downloaded is SP3077.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file:	 
   SP3077 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
   QRST5.EXE
   276320US._01
   SP3077.DOC

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create a diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on-screen 
instructions.

5. After the diskette is created, you may delete the 
downloaded file SP3077.EXE and the other files created 
on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to README.1ST on the diskette for
installation instructions and additional information.
