DESCRIPTION:  Use this SoftPaq to upgrade a registered copy of Compaq
Insight Manager Version 3.20 or 3.20B to Version 3.20C.
This upgrade:
- Adds support for the FAT32 file system of the Windows 95 OSR2 release.
  Previous versions of Compaq Insight Manager would fail if installed on
  a disk using FAT32 (a file system for large disks).  This patch upgrades
  the BDE (Borland Database Engine) module to version 3.5F, which properly
  handles FAT32.  See the notes below to determine if you are using OSR2
  and/or FAT32.
- Corrects a problem which could occur during BDE installation.  If the
  Compaq Insight Manager version 3.20 or 3.20B installation was inter-
  rupted, by the user or by an error, previous BDE applications settings
  would be lost.
- Corrects the Windows 95 Kernel32 Update detection method to work on
  all time-zone settings.
- Corrects a problem with Integration Server Maintenance.  Compaq Insight
  Manager would not always detect that the correct CD was inserted for
  adding products to an integration server.
- Corrects a lockup on the product confirmation screen which can occur
  after selecting multiple products.
NOTE:  The last two issues are corrected and described in detail in
SoftPaq SP2821.  The fixes in SP2821 are included in this SoftPaq SP2851.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This SoftPaq requires that you have the Compaq Management CD 3.20, 3.20A,
  or 3.21.  Do NOT apply the patch to any other releases.
- To find out if you are using Windows 95 OSR2:
  Open the Control Panel, then open the System icon.  Under the General tab,
  you will see the Microsoft Windows 95 version.  If the displayed version
  is 4.00.950B or higher, you have Windows 95 OSR2, which supports FAT32.
- To find out if you are using FAT32:
  From the Explorer, click the secondary mouse button on your drive icon,
  and select Properties from the context menu.  The Drive Type field will 
  indicate whether the drive is using FAT32.
- You will need about 29 MB of free space on your hard drive to perform
  this upgrade (about 18 MB for the install image of your current version
  of Compaq Insight Manager, about 3 MB for the files contained in this
  SoftPaq, and about 8 MB of work space used during the upgrade).
- It is recommended to download the newest version control databases since
  they are ignored by the patch process.  Consult the online documentation
  in the Insight Manager help system.

HOW TO USE:
1.  Create a temporary, empty work folder on your hard drive.

2.  From your Compaq Management CD Release 3.20, 3.20A, or 3.21, copy the 
contents of the folder \INSIGHT\WIN32\ENG to the temporary work folder you 
created in step 1.

3.  Download the SoftPaq to your temporary work folder.  The file that
is downloaded is SP2851.EXE.

2.  From the work folder, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP2851 [ENTER]
    The following four files should be created in that folder:
     CIM320CU.RTP         approx. 3MB
     CIM320CU.BAT
     CIM320CU.DOC
     PATCH.EXE            approx. 55K

3.  After the four files are created, you may delete the downloaded
file SP2851.EXE if you wish.

4.  Execute the file CIM320CU.BAT.  The resulting contents of your
temporary work folder is now an install image of Compaq Insight Manager
Version 3.20C.

5.  You may now delete the files CIM320CU.RTP, CIM320CU.BAT,
CIM320CU.DOC, and PATCH.EXE if you wish.

6.  As a precaution, back up your temporary work folder.

7.  Execute the updated SETUP.EXE in your temporary work folder to
install Compaq Insight Manager Version 3.20C over your previous version.
