DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq contains the equivalent of CD-ROM Part Number 185743-008.
Compaq Netelligent Management Software is a flexible, SNMP-based
network management tool that helps Netelligent customers control their 
networks.  Compaq Netelligent Management Software provides fault detection,
performance monitoring, and configuration support for all manageable 
Compaq Netelligent repeaters, switches, and routers.  Compaq Netelligent 
Management Software also includes a MIB browser, which provides access 
to third-party supported MIBs, and thus allows management of all 
SNMP manageable devices.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty temporary directory on your hard 
drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
SP2822.EXE.  It requires approximately 14.4 MB of disk space.

2.  When the SoftPaq file is executed, it creates 176 files (requiring 
an additional 14 MB of hard drive space) that are used to install the 
application.
To execute, type:  SP2822 [ENTER]
Files created include:
CPQNET.EX_
...
README.TXT

3.  After these files are created, you may delete the 14.4-MB downloaded 
file SP2822.EXE, if you wish.

4.  Refer to README.TXT for additional details on installing and using
the software.  Running SETUP.EXE to install the Netelligent software 
with Adobe Acrobat requires a total of 35 MB hard drive space.  
After installation has completed successfully, the entire temporary 
download directory may be deleted.
