DESCRIPTION: The Compaq Insight Manager Integration Server patch is used 
to correct a problem associated with copying products from a SmartStart 
CD. When Compaq Insight Manager prompts for a particular CD, and the 
correct CD is placed in the CD-ROM drive, Insight Manager will not, 
under certain circumstances, detect that the correct CD has been 
inserted and insist that the correct CD be placed in the CD-ROM drive.  
Specifically, this issue existed with all products on the SmartStart 
3.10A and 3.10B CDs, as well as for the Windows NT 3.0 Select English 
and German products on the SmartStart 3.20 CD.  This patch identifies 
that the correct CD is inserted and allows products to be  successfully 
added to an integration server.

This patch also corrects a lockup on the product confirmation screen 
which can occur after selecting multiple products.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and 
change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2821.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file:
   SP2821 [ENTER]
The following files should be created, requiring approximately 800 KB 
of hard drive space:
   CIM_DWLD.310
   CIM_DWLD.320
   DLCDPARM.DB
   DLCDPARM.PX
   SP2821.TXT

3. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2821.EXE if you wish.

4. Determine which version of Compaq Insight Manager is being used. 
(Within Compaq Insight Manager, select Help/About from the main menu.) 
Determine the directory where Compaq Insight Manager is installed.

5. Shut down Compaq Insight Manager.

6. For Compaq Insight Manager 3.10, copy CIM_DWLD.310 to the 
Compaq Insight Manager directory and name it CIM_DWLD.DLL.

Example: COPY CIM_DWLD.310 (install directory)\CIM_DWLD.DLL

   For Compaq Insight Manager 3.20, copy CIM_DWLD.320 to the 
Compaq Insight Manager directory and name it CIM_DWLD.DLL.

Example: COPY CIM_DWLD.320 (install directory)\CIM_DWLD.DLL

7.  Copy the DLCDPARM.DB and DLCDPARM.PX files to the Compaq Insight 
Manager database directory.

Example: COPY DLCDPARM.* (install directory)\CIM_DB
