NOTE:  The version of CPQARRAY.SYS in this SoftPaq is more recent than the 
version contained in Compaq Support Software for Windows NT 3.51 & 4.0, 
Version 1.20 Rev B (SoftPaq SP2741).

DESCRIPTION:  Contains an updated version of the CPQARRAY.SYS miniport 
driver for Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 that fixes a problem where Crash Memory 
Dumps are not written on Compaq servers configured with a SMART-2/P Array 
Controller (PCI). 

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2746.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP2746 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
CPQARRAY.SYS
CPQARRAY.DBG
CPQARRAY.DOC

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2746.EXE if you wish.

4.  Copy the file CPQARRAY.SYS to the following subdirectory on the 
server, replacing the previous version of the file: 
\%systemroot%\system32\drivers
The file CPQARRAY.DBG is an optional debug symbol file available to 
advanced users for debugging driver issues.

5.  Shutdown and the reboot the system to allow the driver to take effect.
