DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates the OS/2 Support Software 
Diskette for Compaq, Version 2.12 Rev B.  For complete information 
on changes and enhancements, see WHATSNEW.RDM on the generated 
diskette.  

Updates: 

   1. Compaq BIOS-32 Driver
   The Compaq BIOS-32 Driver CPQB32.SYS v1.00 is required for 
   Integrated Management Log support on the Compaq ProLiant 6000 servers.

   2. Compaq SCSI-2 Driver Updates for OS/2
   The SCSI driver CPQ53CX.ADD v2.30 has been updated to support
   pre-failure reporting on SMART SCSI drives.

3. Compaq Array Driver Updates for OS/2
 - The Array driver CPQARRAY.ADD v3.15 has been updated to:
   - Support the Compaq SMART-2SL controller.
   - Support the Integrated Management Log on the ProLiant 6000 
     Servers.
   - Fix a 'Trap D' problem which would occur during system boot 
     when using a Compaq SMART Array controller. This problem did not 
     affect Compaq SMART-2 controllers.

   4. Compaq Health Driver updates for OS/2
   The Health driver CPQHLTH.SYS v3.10 has been updated to
   support the Compaq ProLiant 6000 and ProLiant 850R servers.

   5. Compaq Platform Specific Driver updates for OS/2
   The PSD Driver OS2APIC.PSD v2.30 is a maintenance release.

   6. Compaq NetFlex-3 Driver updates for OS/2
 - The NetFlex-3 driver for OS/2, NETFLX3.OS2 v1.69, has
   been updated to:
   - Support the ProLiant 6000 Servers.
   - Fix a potential data corruption problem that could occur 
     while using a Compaq Netelligent Dual 10/100 TX PCI UTP Controller.

   7. Compaq NetFlex-3 Driver updates for DOS
   The NetFlex-3 driver for DOS, NETFLX3.DOS v1.63, has
   been updated to:
   - Support the ProLiant 6000 Servers.
   - Fix a potential data corruption problem that could occur 
     while using a Compaq Netelligent Dual 10/100 TX PCI UTP Controller.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive 
and change to that directory.   The file that is downloaded is 
SP2710.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  
SP2710 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
275069US._01
SP2710.DOC

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

4. To create the diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on-screen 
instructions.

5.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded 
file SP2710.EXE and the other files created on your hard drive if 
you wish.

6. Refer to the README.1ST file on the diskette for installation 
instructions and additional information.
