DESCRIPTION:  Contains files necessary to correct the problem where 
the Compaq Phone Center adds a leading digit when an 8-digit number 
is entered and dials an incorrect number.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2694.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP2694  [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
DIAL.BAT
MDSERVER.EXE
MDENGINE.DLL
MEGALOCS.CRC
SP2694.DOC
README.TXT

3. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2694.EXE if you wish.

4. Close down the Compaq Phone Center. 

5. Execute the DIAL.BAT file from the directory where the files were 
created.  This will copy the necessary files to the appropriate 
directory. 

6. Restart the computer.

7. The Compaq Phone Center will now dial 8-digit numbers properly.
