DESCRIPTION:  Creates a program that can be used to electronically 
remove an invalid computer serial number that has been incorrectly 
stored on a Compaq Deskpro 2000, Deskpro 4000, or Deskpro 6000.  
This can occur when the system board is swapped.  A possible symptom is 
that a Deskpro 6000 unit is incorrectly identified at boot time as a 
Deskpro 4000 unit.
After running SNZERO.EXE, you must enter the correct serial number using 
the appropriate Compaq Computer Setup utility (F10).

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2690.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP2690 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
SNZERO.EXE
SNZERO.DOC

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2690.EXE if you wish.

4. Run SNZERO.EXE from a DOS prompt. 
SNZERO [ENTER]

Note:  This program will not run under Windows NT.
