DESCRIPTION:  Creates the Compaq Presario Educational Series 
Network Drivers Update Diskette, which allows the preinstalled 
network drivers on a Presario 4170ES or Presario 4460ES to be 
updated or restored. 
This driver diskette should only be used by a network specialist 
in contact with a Compaq Service Provider or Compaq Certified 
Education Partner with access to Compaq Service Advisory 1138 US 
and/or Service Advisory 1306 US. 

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and 
change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
SP2460.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP2460 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44-MB diskette into 
a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded 
file SP2460.EXE if you wish.

5.  Power down the Presario ES computer.

6.  Place the Compaq Presario Educational Models NIC Driver 
Diskette in drive A: and power up the computer, allowing it to 
boot from the diskette.

7.  Follow the instructions on the screen, and refer to the 
Service Advisories mentioned above for more background and 
implementation details.
