DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq contains the equivalent of CD-ROM Part Number 186428-004.
Compaq Netelligent Management Software is a flexible, standards-based
network management tool that runs on a console computer to help 
Netelligent customers control their networks.  It offers the following features:
- Netelligent 5606 Manageable 100Base-T Switch (VLAN support)
- Netelligent 8500 Communications Platform support
- Industry leading Netelligent 8500 configuration management
- Comprehensive Netelligent product management
- Can run with Compaq Insight Manager 3.x
- Standards-based SNMP management

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty temporary directory on your hard 
drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
SP2445.EXE.

2.  When the SoftPaq file is executed, it creates 139 compressed files 
(requiring 4 MB of hard drive space) that are used to install the application.
To execute, type:  SP2445 [ENTER]
Files created include:
CPQNET.EX_
...
README.TXT

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2445.EXE if you wish.

4.  Refer to README.TXT for detailed instructions on installing and 
using the software.  Running SETUP.EXE to install the software requires 
10 MB of hard drive space.  After installation has completed successfully, 
the entire temporary download directory may be deleted.
