DESCRIPTION:  Creates the Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette 
for Compaq ProLiant 1000, 1500, 2000, 4000, 4500, and 5000 Servers.  
It contains updated ROM images for the following models:
ProLiant 1500         ROM E12 (03/20/97)
ProLiant 4500         ROM E14 (02/24/97)
ProLiant 5000         ROM E16 (03/13/97)                 
ProLiant 1500         ROM E27 (02/24/97)                

Enhancements

ROM E12 -  ProLiant 1500 (03/20/97):
- Adds S.M.A.R.T. drive failure prediction support

ROM E14 -  ProLiant 4500  (02/24/97):
- Adds S.M.A.R.T. drive failure prediction support

ROM E16 -  ProLiant 5000 (03/13/97):
- Adds S.M.A.R.T. drive failure prediction support.

ROM E27 -  ProLiant 1500  (02/24/97):
- Adds S.M.A.R.T. drive failure prediction support.

Fixes
-----

ROM E16 -  ProLiant 5000 (03/13/97):
- Fixes issue with PCI cards with PCI memory below 1 MB and the 
new 4-GB support.  The specific PCI NIC cards are the
Intel Pro100, the MicroDyne FDDI Plus, and the Plaintree
FDDI card.

- Fixes problem with the System Configuraton Utility's
"pager test".  User can no longer mix non-standard
COM ports and IRQs.  Pager test works as long as modem is
on COM1-IRQ4 or COM2-IRQ3.

HOW TO USE:

1.   Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.   Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP2407.EXE.

3.   From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: 
     SP2407 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.   After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2407.EXE if you wish.

5.   Refer to the README file(s) on the diskette for specific upgrade 
instructions and additional help.
