DESCRIPTION:  Creates the Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette 
for Compaq ProLiant 1000, 1500, 2000, 4000, 4500, and 5000 Servers.  
It contains updated ROM images for all of the models:
ProLiant 1000         ROM E9  (12/30/96) 
ProLiant 2000, 4000   ROM E10 (12/30/96)
ProLiant 1500         ROM E12 (12/30/96
ProLiant 4500         ROM E14 (12/30/96
ProLiant 5000         ROM E16 (12/30/96)                 
ProLiant 1500         ROM E27 (12/30/96)                

Enhancements
------------
All Models:
- Anytime the date is read using the BIOS INT1A function, check
  if the year has rolled over to 00 and update the century to 20
  in the Real-Time Clock (RTC).

Proliant 5000 (ROM E16 12/30/96): 
- Adds support for the Pentium Pro 1-MB cache.

Fixes
-----
Proliant 1500 (ROM E12 12/30/96) and
              (ROM E27 12/30/96):
- The Compaq Wide-Ultra SCSI Controller board is now correctly
  detected as a Compaq board.
- Fixes a condition which could result in a '101 - I/O ROM Error'
  when multiple Compaq SMART-2 Array Controllers are installed.
- Fixes a condition which could cause problems for devices which
  have the Intel i960RP Chip.

Proliant 4500 (ROM E14 12/30/96): 
- The Compaq Wide-Ultra SCSI Controller board is now correctly
 detected as a Compaq board.

HOW TO USE:

1.   Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.   Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP2404.EXE.

3.   From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: 
     SP2404 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.   After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2404.EXE if you wish.

5.   Refer to the README file(s) on the diskette for specific upgrade 
instructions and additional help.
