DESCRIPTION:  Creates the four System Configuration For Compaq EISA and 
EISA/PCI Products diskettes, which support all currently shipping 
systems Division server products. It is installed on the System 
Partition for those systems which support it and have hard drives. It is 
shipped as diskette(s) on all other products.

New Features: 
* GAT mode advanced feature on Proliant 1500 is hidden if the ROM date
  is prior to 7/1/96.
* Added Support to display devices on C875 SCSI Controller.
* Proliant 1500 with system ROM dated later than 7/17/96 will now
  disable any c710 option ROMs that are present.
* Added support to delete Options Rompaq and DAAD from the partition
  during a 6 MB system partition upgrade.

Problems Fixed:
* Upgraded smrtscsi.sys from version 1.18 to 1.19.
* After using the erase NVRAM advanced feature, the system is now locked
  to force a cold boot.  Previously, if a user warm booted at the screen
  where config asks them to power cycle, they would get a "102 - System
  board failure" POST message.

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory.  The file downloaded to your hard drive is SP2397.EXE.

2. Obtain four (4) formatted 1.44MB diskette and place a diskette in one
of your diskette drives.

3. Execute the SoftPaq file to create the diskettes:  SP2397 [ENTER]  
You will be prompted to enter the remaining diskettes when needed.

4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP2397.EXE if you wish.

5. To run the Compaq System Configuration Utility, power down your 
computer, place the Compaq System Configuration Utility diskette 1 in 
Drive A:, and power up your computer.
