DESCRIPTION:  Contains the program GSFIX.COM, which resolves fixed disk 
read/write delay issues on the Compaq ProLinea e computer when running 
certain applications in a DOS environment.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive, for example 
C:\UTIL, and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is 
SP2386.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP2386 [ENTER]
Th following files should be created:
GSFIX.COM
GSFIX.DOC 

3. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2386.EXE if you wish.

4. Edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and add the GSFIX command.  Be sure the 
directory where the GSFIX.COM program resides is in the path.
NOTE:  Do not load SMARTDRV.EXE when using GSFIX.COM

5. Reboot the computer.
