DESCRIPTION: Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics resides on 
two 1.44 MB floppy diskettes.  One is the Computer SETUP/V diskette, also
known as F10 Setup (this SoftPaq).  It gives a snapshot of the computer
hardware configuration, aids in troubleshooting, and allows the user to
set custom features.  The other diskette is the Diagnostics/TEST
diskette  (SP1988).

A Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics/TEST diskette can:
- TEST Compaq EISA and ISA desktops and portables.
- INSPECT (hardware config) Compaq EISA and ISA desktops and portables.

Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics is installed on the Diagnostics 
Partition for those systems which support it and have hard drives.  
It is shipped as diskette(s) on all other products.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2325.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP2325.EXE [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2325.EXE if you wish.

5.  To run Computer SETUP, power down your computer, place the diskette 
created above in Drive A:, and power up your computer.
