FULL DESCRIPTION: This creates a diskette containing support for the
CD-ROM/Floppy Swapping feature for the LTE 5000 Family under Windows 3.1.
This feature, also known as Standby/Suspend MultiBay Device Exchange,
only applies to the notebook when the default is set to boot from the
hard disk in the Notebook Hard Drive Bay and is not supported when docked
in the expansion base.  While the notebook is undocked, the MultiBay
CD-ROM drive, diskette drive, and a battery can be exchanged in the
notebook MultiBay during Standby/Suspend.

NOTE: This driver does not support Audio on the 2X CD-ROM drives with
Compaq spare part number 213561-001. This part number can be found on
the bottom of the CD-ROM drive on a small bar-code label.  For audio
support on these CD-ROM drives, please use the Teac TEAC_CDI.SYS driver
with these drives instead of CPQLTECD.SYS.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2270.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP2270 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a
diskette drive to create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP2270.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing
and using the software.
