DESCRIPTION:  This creates a ROMPaq firmware upgrade diskette to upgrade 
the System ROM in the above-mentioned Deskpro 2000 models (586c2 ROM Family) 
to the 08/01/96 version.  The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined 
by running F10 Setup.  This version fixes the way the system board revision 
is read.  It adds a workaround for a Windows NT 4.0 issue and changes the 
drive B: default to a 1.44MB diskette drive.  

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2210.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP2210 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2210.EXE if you wish.

5.  Keeping the newly created diskette in the A: drive, cycle system 
power to boot from the ROMPaq diskette.

6.  Follow the on-screen instructions to select the 08/01/96 Compaq 
System ROM and flash the firmware.
