Enhancements/Fixes:
This release is to fix a memory leak in cpmagent.
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq file onto a DOS / Windows PC. Change to the
directory in which the file was placed. The file that is downloaded
is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.
Change to the directory that contains the expanded files
and launch Setup.exe. This will create a file called cpmagent. Transfer
cpmagent to the target Unix Server.
3. Stop the cpmagent process on the target Unix server using the following
procedure:
Login as root. From a console prompt:
#ps - ef | grep cpmagent
This will give us the process id for cpmagent, represented here as x
#kill ?9 x
That kills the process.
copy the original cpmagent file to /usr/cpm/cpmagent.original
copy the new cpmagent file to the target Unix server. This file should be
placed in the subdirectory /usr/cpm.
Restart cpmagent :
#/usr/cpm/cpmagent &
