How to Use:

Standard Installation

   To install the drivers:

   1. Download and run the Softpaq.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable
      with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
   2. Shutdown the computer and install the WL210 PCI adapter.
   3. Turn on the computer.  The Windows Hardware Wizard should appear. 
   4. Guide the installer to the folder that was created in step 1 above.
   5. Select the appropriate folder for the Operating System that the hardware is being 
      installed on.
   6. The Hardware Wizard will detect the correct .inf file and install the appropriate driver.  
   7. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of the hardware.

Upgrading previous installation

    If you have previously installed a version of the WL210 drivers, you are 
    required to do a driver update:

    1. With the WL210 installed, download and run the softpaq.
    2. Click the Start button.
    3. Click on "Control Panel".
    4. Double click on "System".
    5. Click on the Hardware Tab.
    6. Click on the Device Manager Button.
    7. Double click on the Network Adapter section.  (If the WL210 Wireless Adapter is not 
       listed, it may be under Unknown Devices).
    8. Right click on the WL210 device.
    9. Select "Update Driver" from the pop-up list.
   10. Guide the installer to the folder that was created in step 1 above.
   11. Select the appropriate folder for the Operating System that the hardware is being 
      installed on.
   12. The Hardware Wizard will detect the correct .inf file and install the appropriate driver.  
   13. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of the hardware.
