DESCRIPTION:  Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics for Windows resides 
on one 1.44 MB floppy diskette.  It supports ALL currently shipping 
personal computer (non-server) products.  It is installed from 
within the Windows environment, and contains programs that can TEST and 
INSPECT (display configuration) both Compaq EISA and ISA products. 

Program Updates:
1. Product support for Deskpro 2000, Deskpro 4000, and 
Deskpro 6000 families of computers.
2. Made IPE (Insight Personal Edition) available on all
systems that support one or more of the following features:
- Temperature sensing
- System (chassis) serial number detection
- System board revision detection

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file downloaded to your hard drive is SP2086.EXE.

2. Obtain one (1) formatted 1.44MB diskette and place it in one of your 
diskette drives.

3. Execute the SoftPaq file to create the diskette:  SP2086[ENTER]

4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2086.EXE if you wish.

5. Place the Diagnostics for Windows diskette in Drive A:.
For a Windows 3.1x installation, select File, Run... from the Program 
Manager pull-down menu.  Type in A:\CPQINST and select OK.
For a Windows 95 installation, select Run from the Start menu.  Type in 
A:\CPQINST and press <Enter>.
