DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskette for
              Compaq Version 2.10 Rev B. For complete information on
              changes and enhancements to the OS/2 2.x Support Software
              Diskette, see WHATSNEW.RDM on the generated diskette.

UPDATES:

   1. Compaq Bus Master EIDE Driver for OS/2

      The Compaq Bus Master EIDE Driver for OS/2, CPQEIDE.ADD v1.00
      provides support for the Compaq Enhanced IDE Controller on the Compaq
      Servers - ProLiant 2500, ProLiant 800 and ProSignia 200.

      The driver supports the Compaq Self-Monitoring And Reporting
      Technology ( S.M.A.R.T ) drives.  Information on Drive Failure
      Prediction is provided through Compaq Insight Manager.

   2. Compaq SCSI-2 Driver Updates for OS/2

      The SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD v2.26 has been updated to correct a
      potential problem of a system crash occurring while running a tape
      backup application and the Compaq Insight Management Agent.

   3. Compaq Array Driver Updates for OS/2

      The Array driver, CPQARRAY.ADD v3.14 has been updated to:

           1. Provide support for the Compaq ProLiant 800 and ProSignia
              200 servers.

           2. Support the Win-OS/2 Version of the Compaq Array Configuration
              utility for OS/2.

           3. Correct a problem of mismatch in controller slot/boot order
              on the ProLiant 2500.

   4.  Compaq Server Health Driver Updates for OS/2

       The Server Health driver, CPQHLTH.SYS v2.64 has been updated to
       provide support for the Compaq ProLiant 800 and ProSignia 200
       servers.

   5.  NetFlex-3 Driver Updates for OS/2 and DOS

       The NetFlex-3 drivers, NETFLX3.OS2 v1.67 and NETFLX3.DOS v1.62 have
       been updated to provide support for the following:

           1. Integrated 10/100 TX UTP/BNC network interface controller on
              ProLiant 800 servers.

           2. Compaq Netelligent Dual 10/100 TX PCI UTP Controller.

           3. Compaq 100Base-FX Module.

   6.  PSD Updates for OS/2 Warp Advanced Server with SMP 4.0 and OS/2 SMP
       2.11 Support

       The PSD driver, OS2APIC.PSD v2.20 from Compaq has been updated to
       support the ProLiant 800 Server.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and
   change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP2070.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:

    SP2070 [ENTER]

    The following files should be created:

    QRST5.EXE
    275069US._01
    SP2070.DOC

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on- screen
   instructions.

5.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
    SP2070.EXE and the other files created on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to the README.1ST file on the diskette for installation
   instructions and additional information.
