DESCRIPTION:
The LAN Adapter Support Software Diskette (SSD) is a two-diskette 
collection of VINES 6.0 and 7.0 software components which provide 
support for Compaq Network Interface Controllers.

Ethernet Controller Support:

     o  Rev 1.0.1: Compaq NetFlex L ENET Controller Driver.
			   Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller EISA based
			   Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller PCI based
				    
     o  Rev 2.0.1: Compaq NetFlex-3 Controller Driver
		Compaq NetFlex-3/E (EISA) controller with TX, VG and FX modules
		Compaq NetFlex-3/P (PCI)  controller with TX, VG and FX modules
		Compaq 10/100 TX PCI UTP controller
		Compaq 10 T PCI UTP controller
		Compaq Integrated 10/100 TX UTP
		Compaq DUAL 10/100 TX PCI UTP

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and 
   change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is 
   SP2067.EXE.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
   SP2067 [ENTER]
   The following files should be created:
	275569US._01
	275569US._02
	QRST5.EXE
	SP2067.DOC

4. To create the diskettes, at the DOS  prompt  run :
	QRST5 [ENTER]
   Follow the on-screen instructions, which prompt you when to
   insert the formatted diskettes and allow you to print labels.

5. After the SSD diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded 
   file SP2067.EXE and the other files it creates on the download
   directory if you wish.

6. Insert the documentation diskette (the second diskette) into drive A  
   and perform one of the following to view the installation 
   instructions :
	From a DOS prompt enter "a:\readme"
	  or
	Boot the system with the diskette in the drive A:
