PREREQUISITE: Armada 4100 Series notebooks require a System ROM dated
12/09/96 or later for Drive Fault Prediction (DFP) to be supported.
SoftPaq SP2826 contains the 01/23/97 System ROM.
SUPERSEDES: SP2036 for the Armada 4100 only
DESCRIPTION: Creates a diskette to upgrade the Fujitsu hard drive
firmware to version 3122 on Armada 4100 Series notebooks. Supports
Drive Fault prediction (DFP) on the Armada 4100 Series.
HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain 1 formatted 1.44-MB diskette.
2. Download the Softpaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP2056.EXE.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file:
SP2056 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a
diskette drive to create the diskette.
4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP2056.EXE if you wish.
5. Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing
and using the software.
