DESCRIPTION: This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest maintenance releases of Compaq ProLiant
DL380 G2 Servers.

Allow SmartStart to be able to control which device to boot
from even if there is a ROMPAQ disk in the floppy drive.
Added support for Windows.NET.
Added some changes to speed up POST.
Added prompt for administrator password when F9 is pressed after
a warm boot.
Changed POST to halt the system if a failed or missing VRM
is detected.
Added prompt for the administrator password when booting a CD
with no emulation.
Added message for the backup ROM being invalid.
Added a check for mixed speed processors. The system will
now be halted if the processor speeds don't match.
Added support for Serial Port Console Redirection (SPCR) table
for Windows.NET.
Added multiple function support for NC3134 and NC3122 NICs
in RBSU.
Added support for NetWare 6.
Added support for OpenUNIX 8.
Added help text to RBSU to explain the Delayed choice for
the F1 prompt.
Added in NC7132 NIC, NC7770 NIC, NC6770 NIC, and Smart Array 5312
names to RBSU.
Don't allow more than 8 IPL devices to show up in RBSU.
Added information panel for Quicklock option to RBSU.

Added support so that the language only needs to be selected once
between SmartStart and RBSU. Previously, it had to be selected

Fixed problem with USB entry in MP Mapped Mode.
Fixed problem with system hanging on 101-IO ROM ERROR message.
Added correct messaging for the processor being detected in the
wrong socket. We were calling the processor socket a "slot."
Fixed problem with NMI's corrupting serial number in NVRAM.
Fixed problem with administrator password screen not being
cleared fast enough when trying to boot to ROMPAQ disk.
Fixed problem with some option ROMs hanging.
Fixed a problem with an extra beep during POST.
Fixed problem with NMI debug button not becoming enabled
after setting the option in RBSU and warm booting.
Fixed problem with CDRW media on 3rd party CDROM drives.
Added fix to make sure that USB keyboard LEDs initialize
to off.
Fixed problem with NMI button not being sourced properly.
Fixed problem with PS/2 mouse during installation of
Windows 2000 when a USB keyboard is being used.
Fixed problem with RBSU allowing the date/time and the
language to be changed when NVRAM is locked.

Fixed problem where "SCSI network controller" will show up
in IPL list if RBSU cannot find the name of a NIC card.
Fixed problem where the administrator password is not
being cleared when clearing NVRAM in RBSU.
Fixed problem with NVRAM being locked without prompting
for an administrator password when there is a bootable
disk in the floppy drive.
Fixed problems with the boot controller order when the
CDROM drive is removed from the system.
Fixed problem where RBSU allowed strings to be changed
when NVRAM was locked.
Make sure that CMOS gets cleared when maintenance switch
is set.
Fixed problem with Solaris not setting the ID for
the IOAPICs.
Fixed a problem where Netware 6 SP1 would hang attempting
to down the server.
HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.
2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP20299.EXE.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP20299 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.
4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP20299.EXE if you wish.
5. Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
