TITLE: Evo N600c CPQFlash Update Utility and ROM Upgrade (686DF ROM)
VERSION: 2001.10.12 Rev A
DESCRIPTION:
This Softpaq creates .CAB files that contain a binary image for
the System ROM for Evo N600c Series notebooks with a 686DF Family ROM.
The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running F10 Setup.
The SoftPaq also contains the CPQFlash update utility that allows the ROM
to be "flashed" (upgraded) in a single step without creating an update
diskette.

- Fixes eratic mouse movements that occur after resuming from Standby when
using a wheel mouse.
- Fixes an issue where the dual pointer was not operational after resuming from
Standby.
- Fixes an issue where the video display was not restored after resuming from
Standby.

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on
the SoftPaq Number above.
2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. After the system has been shutdown, you may delete all temporary files
and the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS
PROCEDURE!
