DESCRIPTION:  System Configuration Utility supports all currently 
shipping Systems Division server products.  It is installed on the 
System Partition for those systems which support it and have hard 
drives.  It is shipped as diskette(s) on all other products. 

New Features: 
* Added an advanced mode switch for GAT mode on the ProLiant 1500.
* Added an advanced mode switch for PERR on the ProLiant 1500.
* Added support for the LS-120 floppy drive on Deskpro XL.
* Added an advanced mode switch to disable the F1 prompt at POST on
  the ProSignia 300.
* Added an advanced mode switch for PCI Parity Error on the 
  ProLiant 1500.

Problems Fixed:
* 164 memory size error on Deskpro XL
* VGA pallet problem on Deskpro XL
* Modem connect problems at baud rates > 9600
* APIC mode now defaults to EISA-MAPPED instead of FULL TABLE on SYS3
  family systems for the UnixWare 2.1 OS.
* Added SMRTSCSI.SYS to foreign language config.sys files.
* Removed Cold boot text from German cd reboot message.
* Removed Options Rompaq as an installation/upgrade option for
  the 6 MB system partition.

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file downloaded to your hard drive is SP1999.EXE. 

2. Obtain four (4) formatted 1.44MB diskettes and place a diskette in 
one of  your diskette drives.

3. Execute the SoftPaq file to create the diskettes:  SP1999 [ENTER] 
You will be prompted to enter the remaining diskettes when needed.

4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP1999.EXE if you wish.

5. To run the Compaq System Configuration Utility, power down your 
computer, place the Compaq System Configuration Utility diskette 
number 1 in drive A:, and power up your computer.
