DESCRIPTION:  This is a single user softpaq of Registry Utility that sets "Perfdisk Performance Open Timeout" value in registry to 12 mil sec.  This is a solution for Event ID 2002 generated by Perflib.


Enhancements/Fixes:
Set the default value of 5 mil sec to 12 mil sec of the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->System->CurrentControlSet->Services->PerfDisk->Performance->Open Timeout

SCOPE: 
Any Compaq server installed with Insight agents 5.40 (or earlier) and OS Management agent (PFC) for Microsoft Windows 2000



HOW TO USE:

1. Copy the softpaq SP19864.exe to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file is a self-extracting executable.

2. Execute the SP19864.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Press the Space Bar to confirm the unpacking of a file  named Regfix.exe into this temporary directory. 

3. Excecute the Regfix.exe file 

4. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file
