Note:  EFS 5.50 contains the new Compaq Advanced System Management Driver
       "cpqasm" which only supports servers with Advanced System Management 
       capabilities (ASM).  EFS 5.50 does not contain the legacy System 
       Management Driver "cpqw".  System Management Driver support "cpqw"
       for legacy servers can be obtained from EFS 5.48.  It is important to 
       note that ProLiant servers can not load both drivers simultaneously.  
       Installing EFS 5.50 on a pre-ASM server will complete successfully without
       loading the Compaq Advanced System Management Driver.  Without System
       Management Driver support the Insight Management Agents will not provide
       full functionality.  For pre-ASM servers it is highly recommended that
       users retain "cpqw" support released in EFS 5.48.  For more information 
       on the System Management Driver Update please refer to the EFS man pages.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain five (5) 1.44-MB diskettes.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard
    drive and change to that directory.  The file that
    is downloaded is SP19862.exe.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP19862 [ENTER]  The following files should be created:
        QRST5.EXE
        EFS550._01
	EFS550._02
	EFS550._03
	EFS550._04
	EFS550._05
        README.TXT

4.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded
    file SP19862.exe if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT for instructions on creating the five (5) diskettes.
