WMI 1.5 must be installed on the server. WMI is included with Microsoft Windows 2000. Note that for Microsoft Windows NT you can download WMI from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=18490 
Note: It is strongly recommended that you do not install WMI SNMP Provider, as it may conflict with third party SNMP-based products. It is recommended that you choose to install only the default WMI Core Components.

DESCRIPTION:  The SoftPaq provides Compaq Availalability Agents Version 1.0d.  It creates the following files; CAACIMXE.PDF, CAARELNT.PDF, CAASETUP.PDF, CAAWHTPR.PDF and SETUP.EXE.  CAACIMXE.PDF provides information on Integrating Compaq Availability Agents with Compaq Insight Manager XE, CAARELNT.PDF is the Compaq Availability Agents Release Notes, CAASETUP.PDF is the Compaq Availability Agents Setup and Installation Guide, CAAWHTPR.PDF provides Implemention Guidelines and SETUP.EXE is the main setup file used to install Compaq Availablity Agents Version 1.0d. The Softpaq does not require diskettes.

Enhancements/Fixes: Compaq Availablity Agents Version 1.0d provides an update to textual information on the screen or included with alerts, that displayed Availant Manager in some places instead of displaying Compaq Availability Agents. No functional changes have been made. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The SoftPaq file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a file name based on the SoftPaq Number above. 
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Press the Space Bar to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 
3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1. 
4. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
