DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq contains the files that allow you to upgrade the 
firmware for the Compaq StorageWorks MSA1000.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 ? This firmware release addresses an issue with Advanced Data Guarding 
(ADG - Fault Tolerance). It will now allow the use of the Array 
Configuration Utility (ACU) with stripe sizes other than the default 
16KB stripe size.



HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  

3. After files have been extracted, please refer to the MSAFLASH.TXT
file for installation/upgrade instructions.
