TITLE: Remote ROM Flash Utilities for Compaq Evo Workstation W6000 (686P8 ROM)
VERSION: 1.15 Rev. A
DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq creates a set of utility files that can be used with a remote
configuration tool such as Altiris eXpress to update or restore the System ROM
in the Compaq Evo Workstation W6000 series with a 686P8 Family ROM. It also
includes the ROM Image.
The standard ROMPaq will not work for updating a PC remotely over a network.
The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by
pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer,
and viewing File/System Information. This information can be saved into a text
file by selecting File/Save to Diskette.
