DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette with an updated system ROM image 
for ProLiant 5000 servers.  For other affected server products, such as 
the ProLiant 1500, ProLiant 2000/4000, and ProLiant 4500, this release 
provides system ROM images that remain the same as in the superseded 
SoftPaq.  For Compaq ProSignia and Systempro/XL Servers, use SoftPaq 
SP1958.


ProLiant 5000
- Maintenance release to allow interrupts to be processed in APIC mode, 
which is required for multi-processor operating systems.  Requires user 
to run the System Configuration Utility Ver 2.31 Rev B when upgrading 
from a single processor system to a multi-processor system.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1959.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1959 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP1959.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refert to the README file on the diskette for specific upgrade 
instructions and additional help.
